Coogee Resources has assembled an attractive portfolio of exploration permits within the highly prospective waters of the Bonaparte Basin, in the Timor Sea off the north coast of Western Australia.
The Company has identified a range of prospects and leads that are within tie-back to distance to the Jabiru, Challis and Montara facilities. The ability to tie-back to existing production facilities increases the potential for modest discoveries to be commercially successful.
In February 2007, Coogee Resources was awarded a permit over AC/P40. The block contains several leads that are within tie-back distance to the Jabiru and Challis operations.
The Company intends to begin a 4 year, 11 well programme in late 2007.
